Marshall Amplification

Founded in the 60’s by the late Jim Marshall as a British alternative to imported American-made amplifiers, Marshall has since become a key part of rock music world wide. The overdriven roar of the ‘Marshall sound’ partly helped music get heavier throughout the 70’s onwards, and the company is one of the most well-known rock amp manufacturers in the world. The classic Marshall stack is an instantly recognizable component of the loud rock guitarist’s setup. Popular with artists from The Who, and Led Zeppelin, to Guns’n’Roses and Slayer, Marshall amps are widely used by bands at every level.
